Our base camp is located up the Arrowhead Trail, not far from the Northern Terminus of the Superior Hiking Trail, the Eastern trailhead for the Border Route Trail, and the least utilized BWCA Entry Point at Little John Lake.

We are fully insured and under permit to operate in the Superior National Forest

Superior by Nature’s base camp is at Points Unknown, up the Arrowhead Trail in Hovland, MN. We are partnering in order to provide you with a unique service and will customize this experience to fit your needs the best we can. See our items list with associated costs on our payment page.

• Limited secure and safe parking at Points Unknown
• Camping the night before & after on trail with available shower at Points Unknown
• Points Unknown also offers a Guest Suite and Tiny cabins with a 2 night minimum
• Supply drop and pick up location – FREE
• Supply drop at trailheads
• Storage of bikes, kayaks & canoes – FREE
• Transport of bikes, kayaks & canoes
• Dogs with well-behaved humans ride for FREE
• Up to 8 person shuttle capacity, including driver
